How to Explore the Hidden Gem of Tokyo: Sangenjaya

Sangenjaya is a hidden gem in the bustling Tokyo city. There is so much to do when you visit this laid-back area. Sangenjaya is Japanese for three tea houses. It refers to the three tea houses of the Edo period.

From vintage markets to chic cafes, every site is worth visiting. You can indeed have fun exploring this region in western Tokyo. You cannot miss the best things to do here with this Sangenjaya area guide.

Take a Walk by the Setagaya Line

You can take your time exploring the Setagaya Line. The first thing that will catch your attention here is probably the Gotokuji Temple. It lies right opposite the Setagaya Line. Admire the Japanese Theatres

You will find two Japanese theatres right next to the Sangenjaya Station. Make sure to check out the authentic and traditional Japanese performances. Get the Perfect Sunset View from the Carrot Tower

Carrot Tower gets its name thanks to its bright orange color. Head to the top, where you will find the observation deck. This place has wide windows along with relaxing couches.

There is also a café and a restaurant here. You can watch the beautiful sunset while sipping a drink. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the splendid view.
