Navigating the stairs of washroom doom? Not a sound idea…
So – quick question. In analyzing the picture… is the stairwell .. possibly being used as an alternate washroom? ~~~EWWWWW! I know, I know.. but someone had to go there. And of course, that would be me! ;)
@Nomadic Chick – Sis you will have to start writing about the best washrooms you see particularly, in Europe!
@Chris-Who-Owns-Your-Desk – Chris – I love your handle name. :) It states a fact – that you do own my sister’s old desk, lol. :) I have been to that washroom and its nice, but there is another one in a restaurant I went to with Matt and I was really impressed. I wish I could remember where that was.
@Chris-Who-Owns-Your-Desk – Hi Chris! Hope you’re doing well and enjoying the desk. That is a lovely washroom in ol’ Burnaby. My sister is a lucky girl. :)
This was in today’s Vancouver Sun. Apparently, the best washroom in the country is seven minutes away from your sister’s house! When you start off on your Best Washrooms of the World tour, you’ll have to start at the Burnaby Cactus Club.
Haha! Love it. I was in London a few months ago and was intrigued by how most washrooms in restaurants and bars were down a flight of stairs. Sometimes I felt like I was going into someone’s basement!
Lol seeing this picture reminded me a washroom for a Wendy’s I used to go to as a kid, it had stairs as well. It was always a bit strange to walk downstairs to use the washroom. They tore the building down and had to start from scratch to make everything wheelchair accessible.

In June 2010, I sold all my earthly possessions and bought a one way ticket to India.
