newnomadichick

Here it is, my new site for you to feast your eyes on!

This baby has been 6 months in the making, struggling back and forth with the right designers, until I found the lovely Janelle Desrosiers of Bloom and Brilliance.

The Design Look

I wanted to still capture that essence of gypsy blood that I falsely imagine I have with subtle tones and I think Janelle captured that feel beautifully. The look extends to all my social media profiles, so take a peep at the customized buttons Janelle designed.

Where is Everything?

Take a tour.

Under Real Time Wall (click My Story to find), all my major social media channels are conveniently in one place so you can peruse at your leisure. There’s a map that I’ll update as I move around that blue and green dot (da world).

Under Explore, it’s a menu of some of my adventures lodged into sparse categories.

Destinations. That speaks for itself.

My Story. Has been rewritten to reflect what I’m ultimately trying to achieve with Nomadic Chick.

Travel Resources at the bottom of the main page is the same resource page from before, a wide range of resources for the traveler that I update periodically.

Under Traveling Resources (at top of main page), you’ll find some useful ways to travel or things that I found through the years as a solo female.

What’s Coming Up Next?

Remember that post when I confessed nearly quitting Nomadic Chick? I mentioned how there aren’t enough resources for women and this frustrates me.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be launching a central place to merge my love of the literary with useful tools or inspirational resources for women to star in their own travel adventure.

This central place might also include travel products specifically for women’s needs, with the occasional gender neutral one, I can’t shut out all the boys.

There’s so much percolating, it’s tough to contain myself!

I’ll announce more ventures beyond what’s in this post in the next 2 weeks, so hold tight.

If someone told me 3 years ago that living a life of creativity and passion were possible, I wouldn’t of believed them.

I would have told them to go to hell.

Now, I don’t have to.

The next post will be focusing on my designer Janelle, because she’s a fellow female entrepreneur with a distinct vision and I’d like to share hers with you.

If you’re a new reader, you’ve caught me in a renaissance. I’m just getting started!
