 Burj Khalifa, Dubai

While you need to pay to enter the observation deck, it will be worth every cent. It will give you an amazing perspective of the city, which you cannot enjoy anywhere else. There are also electric telescopes, which let you see what the view looks like at different times during the day, and you can also see how it looked many years ago. This is fascinating to see, due to how quickly Dubai has evolved; you’ll be able to spot all the changes.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Siem Reap in Cambodia is known as a favorite amongst backpackers because it is a cheap destination. If there is one reason why many people go here, it would be to explore the Angkor Wat, which is just one of the many temples that you can visit. It is beautiful anytime of the day but gets even better just in time for sunset. Recently, however, authorities have been mulling on limiting the number of tourists that can access the famed spot for sunset viewing because it is apparently slowly being destroyed. Like in the case of other destinations, be sure to be there early, otherwise, be ready to brave the crowd. For sure, it will be worth it!
